Application of rate limits

Hello,

I see that you have just recently announced rate limits for the FreeAgent API. However it’s a little unclear to me from the post how these will be implemented. Will these rate limits be per account (i.e. anaccount.freeagent.com) or per OAuth Application (if more than one account is using an integration is the rate limit applied across all of these accounts)?

Hi Phillip,

The limits will be per user (i.e. an individual rather than a company), so if you have multiple concurrent users of your integration these will not affect each other.

I’ll go back and clarify that point on the announcement.
