Hi,
I am evaluating FreeAgent for my business and trying to make the billing
process on my site fully automatic. Importing transactions from Stripe as
they happen, creating invoices, transactions and explanations automatically
in FreeAgent via the API.
I have almost finished with the process outlined above, but I was not be
able to figure out, how to automatically handle the reverse charge.
When I explain a transaction through the FreeAgent webapp then I can
specifiy that I paid for an “EC Service”. How can I do the same thing with
the API?
I am using the following REST endpoint:

What I would like to see, is an ‘ec_status’ attribute on the above
endpoint.
*Is there an other way I can explain a transaction as payment for EC
Service through the API and let FreeAgent to handle the VAT reverse charge
for me? *

Hi László,
We don’t currently support the tagging of EC transactions through the API.
I’ll add a +1 to our feature requests tracker for this feature for you.
