Unable to authorise App

Hello I’m trying to use the FreeAgent API and following the instructions using Google OAuth 2 Playground. I’m being redirected to the Approve app screen and no matter which account email I use I’m getting an invalid emai/password. The email/password are correct.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your message, and welcome to the forum! Could you let me know if this is happening in the sandbox or production environment? Are you able to log in with the same details at https://login.sandbox.freeagent.com/login (if you’re using sandbox) or https://login.freeagent.com/login (for production)?

Hi @Ewa_Lipinska, I’m afraid not. I can log into https://dev.freeagent.com/apps with those creds but not in the sandbox environment.

Your login details for the FreeAgent Developer Dashboard (https://dev.freeagent.com/login) – which is our developer portal that allows you to manage your apps – are separate to any login credentials you set up for production/sandbox FreeAgent accounts. Have you already set up a FreeAgent test account for your app? If not, you can create a sandbox account at https://signup.sandbox.freeagent.com/signup (as described in the first bullet point in the Quick start instructions).

@Ewa_Lipinska. Thanks for your reply. Following the sandbox links looks like I’m creating a new free agent account which I already have. Is this correct?

If you already have a sandbox account, there’s indeed no need to set up a new one. Could you tell me what page you normally log in to the FreeAgent account you have?
