Trail balance summary date issues

Hi team,

we are caliing the trailbalance summary api by passing both from and end date

GET https://api.freeagent.com/v2/accounting/trial_balance/summary?from_date=2014-01-01&to_date=2014-05-01

While getting the response we are getting whole data under that instead of dates

can you please suggest us on this

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

I’ve had a look at the API call and at what we’re doing with the parameters, and it looks like the date filters should be working fine on our end.

The trial balance figures in the response should be limited to the date range passed in, but the response isn’t clear about the dates.

Sorry about this, just so that I’m absolutely sure, can I just confirm that the dates you are querying for are:

1st January 2014 to 1st May 2014

We are calling the trail balance api for dates 01 Apr 2018 to 31 Mar 2019,but we are getting the whole data other then the dates passing in parameter

Thank you for letting us know which dates you were searching for. Unfortunately I can’t see the image you posted. To search with these dates, can you confirm you used the specific API call:

GET https://api.freeagent.com/v2/accounting/trial_balance/summary?from_date=2018-04-01&to_date=2019-03-31

I can’t see any other issues on our side around this. You might be able to get more specific help by contacting our support team with any further queries. You can contact support@freeagent.com for that.

I’ve managed to track down the API calls in our request logs from the information you provided. Please could you check and confirm that you are using the URL query parameters from_date and to_date, and not using start_date and end_date.
