Recurring Invoice Profiles

Hi

Is it possible to create recurring invoice profiles via the API?
The docs only seem to imply we can list them?

Thanks

James

Hi James

I was wondering if this has moved on at all ? We are trying to create
recurring profiles from a Salesforce system and this is not possible as far
as we can see. If is a real requirement for the customer.
If it is not possible, then I will follow Dale’s solution - do you have an
opinion on the risks/issues if we were to manage the recurrence in
Salesforce and just generate standard invoices in Free Agent ?
Is the main implication that they would need to manage recurrences
elsewhere ? Apart from that I can’t see any problem with this approach.
Would appreciate your thoughts.

regards

Hello Dave,

It makes no sense to expose the ability to create stand-alone invoices,
without exposing the ability to create recurring ones. What on earth was
the reason for excluding this from the API?

I have added my vote, as per your suggestion, but believe its omission from
your API is a serious oversight, as recurring invoices is not an edge-case
feature, but a core feature of your service.

We would have to implement this logic on our own side at this point, if we
choose to sign-up, which isn’t ideal.

Would you mind adding your “vote” to the card, so we can track the
popularity of feature requests.

I’m sorry that I can’t help you more at this time.

Thanks,

Just voted would love to see this, we have lots of invoices that need to be changed monthly and all have to be done manually.

We definitely need this. There is no reason I can think of not to expose this part of the API. How is it any different from creating/updating unlimited numbers of invoices…? How is it any less secure or desirable…?

Please add it…I have added my vote to the trello board but that board looks dead in the water from the activity log.
