Opening Mileage - previously an integer, today coming back as a decimal?

Hi,

I had the ‘opening-mileage’ node in User objects previously coming back as
an integer as follows…

0

… but today it’s coming back as a decimal as follows…

0.0

… has something changed? Should I assume it safer in my code to mark this
as a decimal and the ‘mileage’ in expense objects also?

Hi Adil

We have actually just changed the format of the mileage fields I decimal. We debated whether or not to introduce a new ‘decimal mileage’ field in the API and retain the integer mileage field but the end went against this decision. It would be easy for us to backtrack if everyone thought this a more preferable solution?

It’s fine by me as I’m still in development so an easy change… though
existing apps might be affected? On Thu, Nov 10, 2011 at 8:49 AM, Olly oheadey@gmail.com wrote:

FA also accepts integer mileage, so anyone submitting (but not reading)
mileage should be fine (eg, me!)On Thu, Nov 10, 2011 at 08:57, Adil Hussain adilson05uk@gmail.com wrote:
