List project names without Projects & Contacts permission level

Hi,

I am trying to list all time slips and display the project name and task
name, just like in the FreeAgent web app.

But if I only have the “Time” permission level, then I get HTTP 403 when I
try to GET a project (because that needs the Projects & Contacts permission
level).

I only want to read the name of the project, so that I can give some more
context to the task name. Is there some API that will show me the project
name?

I’ve been asking for, and trying to do this, for a long, long while.
Had a fair few people asking for just time submission via
mobileAgent… :frowning:

Hi Josh & Nic,

Urgh, I see the problem. Thanks for bringing this to our attention and
apologies for the delayed response.

We’re hoping to give our API some TLC over the coming months and, through
discussions like this, we’re compiling a list of pain-points that we hope
to rectify.
I’ve created a card outlining this problem on our API Trello Board:

Could I ask you both to add your “vote” to this card, so we can gauge
demand when we come to review this board?
