JSON for API

I recall quite some time ago there were questions of JSON input/output
support for the API. I thought it was a planned feature but didn’t notice
anything int he docs just now. Am I missing it? If it’s not there, any
timeline when it might appear?

While I can generate and parse XML in a Python or whatnot app, JSON would
make JavaScript interactions easier IMHO.

Our upcoming v2 of the API supports both JSON and XML. We hope to release
it in the not-too-distant future (it’s in beta right now)

Hi, Olly. I thought I had requested to join the Beta when I signed up for
the new API mailing list. Not so? If not, could I be added?

I’m trying to come up with an offline-capable webapp that will be
cross-platform, targeting mobile screen size, and allow punch-clock style
time tracking. A feature I’m desperate for in FA.
