Invoice payments

I’ve not seen much in the way of code, but some people have posted
some PHP code here (have a look back in google groups), and I’m some
of the way (tho not finding much time at the moment) into a .NET/C#
client.

What language/environment do you use?

I was kinda hoping for at least a ruby set of tests or a client, being
thats what FA uses …On Mon, Jun 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM, Johnny B johnny.briggs37@gmail.com wrote:

Hi guys

I’m just getting to grips with the new API and can’t work out a few basics.

Are there any code samples? I am from a SOAP background and this is the
first RESTful API I’ve tried to get to grips with.

For example, I can’t for the like of me work out how to pay an invoice using
the API. Is this even possible?

Cheers

Hi Johnny,

Hopefully you’ll find REST much simpler to develop for than SOAP. You
can use the FreeAgent API with XML (or JSON).

In terms of paying an invoice, the procedure is to create a Bank
Transaction Explanation with the paid_invoice parameter set to the url of
the invoice you want to pay.
