We are currently working on an application that will require accountants to
extract trail balances from free agent.
Does the API support this ie the ability to log into free agent with the
single log in and pick from the list the client you want to pull the data
from?
I know you can do this on a client by client basis but does it work with
the accountant log in and if so how?

Hi Abel,
Thanks for getting in touch. Our API’s authorisation system doesn’t
currently support what you’re looking for, I’m afraid. You could
potentially have a single application that authorised itself against
multiple user accounts, but I’m not sure if that would be much help to you,
as each would have to be authorised independently by the user.

you are after and works for accountants wanting to access TB for many
clients.
