Creating a recurring invoice

Is is still not possible to create a recurring invoice via the api?

Thanks a lot for your question. I can confirm that API access to recurring invoices is still read only (with listing a collection of recurring invoices and getting a single recurring invoice being the available actions). If it’s something you’d like to see implemented, I’d be grateful if you could add your “vote” to this card on our public Trello board – we’ve recently started reviewing the future of our API development, so having up-to-date information about what our users would find useful is now more relevant than ever.

Is this still the case - that you can’t POST recurring invoices?
I’ve been posting invoices with a recurring invoice payload thinking that would work. Getting 201s but no recurring invoices appear.

We just received a request to support the migration of 300 recurring invoices from one account to another.

Please allow writing…you are really crippling the effectiveness of the API when we can’t update recurring invoices. There are so many scenarios where it’d important.
