Contact categories

Hi Friends,

Can we make categories, or can pass a key to contact, to find that contact
is supplier / customer.
Because there are filters shown in document related to Contacts at free
Agent

https://dev.freeagent.com/docs/contacts

  • clients: Show all clients.
  • suppliers: Show only active suppliers.

now, I need that concept,

And I also want to know the ( Hash ) criteria for sending data (encoding /
hashing algo ).

Hi Vipul,

The “contact category” you see there is derived from other data in the
system: it’s not something that is specified by input. A “supplier” is
simply a contact with bills, where a “client” is a contact with invoices or
estimates. It’s entirely possible, therefore, for a contact to be both a
supplier and a contact.

Hope this helps,
