Couldn’t agree more. This is obviously functionality Freeagent should have and I really don’t understand why Freeagent aren’t tackling this. However, I find it even more frustrating that no one can be bothered to come on here and explain why it’s not being addressed or if there is a plan to do so, what that is.

I’m David and am one of the Engineering Managers at FreeAgent.
Unfortunately FreeAgent can’t support all scenarios for all customers. We’re always working on new features, but the reality is we have to prioritise what we work on as we don’t have unlimited resources. We consider feature requests along with other market factors to determine what we’re going to work on, but adding support for box 190 is not something that we are currently working on, nor is it on our roadmap for the near future, so we can’t give you a date when it will be implemented (if at all).

Whilst it does surprise me FreeAgent aren’t prioritizing an update for the larger incorporated landlords market when they have a full product for the smaller unincorporated landlords market I thank you for the clarity. Knowing there is no intention to look at this allows me to make an informed decision regarding which accounting software I use.
