Bank details missing the bank account name

I’ve just added the details of my bank account to add to the invoice.

You only have 3 fields:

Bank Name
Account Number
Sort/Bank Code

Increasingly clients want to know the account name. Eg I trade a “Company Name” but my bank account is in “Company Name Limited”.

So there needs to be an additional field, one for the bank name (Barclays/NatWest etc) and one of the bank account name (Company name ltd)

Yes, I had multiple requests from the clients to include account name. How Can Resolve this issue?

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble adding both a bank name and account holder name. I can see how this would be useful so I’ll certainly feed this back to the wider team.

In the meantime, in the Bank name field on your bank account, we don’t have any restrictions on what you can type in there so you could put both your bank name and account holder name in there and both of these would then be displayed on invoices.

For example, you could do something like this:

You can find this page by going to your bank account in FreeAgent then clicking on the ‘Edit details’ button in the top right-hand corner.
