App not recognised

We are in the process of using the API to synchronise invoices generated on
our website with FreeAgent. I hit a problem when I try I click on the
“Synchronise” button on our website it transfers me to
https://api.freeagent.com/v2/login which I would expect but then when I
login I get

https://api.freeagent.com/v2/request_approval

Sorry, there’s been a problem.

We don’t recognise this app. Please get in touch with the author of the
application you’re trying to approve.

Does anyone have any pointers please?

Our AppID is 2ecpZ7NE9m0CZ7XcQSEAXw-- I believe it has been tested.

Hi Alistair,

Can you let us know your app ID or oAuth identifier so we can take a look
and see what might be the issue here please. Have you had your app working
in the Google OAuth 2.0 playground as explained in the quickstart guide (
FreeAgent Developer Dashboard)?

Hi Alistair,

I’ve taken a look and it looks like you’ve added extra hyphens where they
aren’t needed. If you use the same AppID but without the two hyphens at the
end that should work correctly. Does that fix the problem and do you know
where the extra hyphens came from?
