API access is disabled for this company

Hi Ross,

Actually it seems that the setting I pointed you to is only used for the
iCal timeline feeds, and “API access is disabled for this company” is
actually given when a company doesn’t have access to its data anymore (due
to cancellation or free trial or subscription expiry). Sorry for the false
information earlier.

Thanks for the quick reply

I’ve disabled API access on our test FreeAgent account but I can still
successfully pull back invoices for a specific contact in dev - is there a
step i’m missing to recreate the problem? I’m using v2 of the API.

Thanks,
Ross

Hi Ross,

This usually means that the company needs to enable API access by going to
Settings > API & Feeds and clicking “Enable access.”

Hi,

We’re getting a lot of “API access is disabled for this company” errors in
our logs.

Is there a common cause for this issue? Is there an easy way for me to
recreate the problem in dev?

Thanks,
Ross
