Adding Stock Items to Bills

Hi,

I am trying to add a Bill to a Contact via the vs 2 API. If I set the
Category of a Bill to “Stock” I get the error:

“errors”:[{“message”:“base you must specify a stock item to use this
category”}]}

How can I add a Stock item to a Bill via the API…?

I see no documentation for this.

Thanks for the response. FYI it would be very useful to have access to
Stock through the API.

I’m sorry but we don’t currently support stock through the API.

Is there any change in this lack of stock support through the API? It has
been nearly a year…

I’m currently trying to get round the fact that one can only add one stock
item per bill. This is completely contrary to a real-world bill, which can
be for many items. And the restricted implementation does not fit with Free
Agent’s “simple for non-accountants” ethos.

I’ve just bootstrapped myself into using the FreeAgent API, and now I
discover that the API is also limited in places…pretty frustrating.
