Localhost 7888 auth callback error with "Assist(a)nt application

Hello All

FA Support directed me here to see if anyone has some advice regarding a failure to set up the Assist(a)nt [h add-on applicationttps://assistnt.com/index]

I want to trial Assist(a)nt (the “Business Plan” option) as a backup means with FA, however I cannot complete the signup/ login due to an error “localhost 7888 auth callback”

I follow the instructions until I get to the FA page to allo access to our account

I click on “Approve” and after some delay, I get :

“This site can’t be reached
Search Google for localhost 7888 auth callback
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED”

However within FA, Assist(a)nt shows as an approved application in FA Settings, but I still cannot login to Assist(a)nt - get stuck in the connect and authenticate cycle…

I spotted your post here on the forum and the support request you have open with my colleague Stuart. From your latest email update, it sounds like this issue has been traced back to a bug in Assist(a)nt, which has now been fixed?
